The Sahara Forest Project is now participating at the UN Climate Negotiations, COP18. The negotiations take place in Qatar, Doha from 26th of November until 7th of December. Together with The Bellona Foundation, The Sahara Forest Project hosts an exhibition room, meeting room and auditorium inside the delegation area of the conference.
The Sahara Forest Project is now participating at the UN Climate Negotiations, COP18. The negotiations take place in Qatar, Doha from 26th of November until 7th of December. Together with The Bellona Foundation, The Sahara Forest Project hosts an exhibition room, meeting room and auditorium inside the delegation area of the conference. The parties will host a number of side events. The exhibition room will contain an interactive model of The Sahara Forest Project Pilot Facility and an information film will premiere during the conference.
The COP18 will take place an hour drive from The Sahara Forest Project Pilot Facility that is built in cooperation with Yara International and Qafco. The facility will commence operations during COP18, and sets out to provide inspiration to the delegates as a positive and innovative solution in fighting climate change.
