Today the first cucumbers from The Sahara Forest Project Pilot Facility were served to VIP guests and workers at the pilot facility inside Measaieed Industrial City in Qatar. UN Climate Negotiations, COP18, Doha, Qatar
The Sahara Forest Project is now participating at the UN Climate Negotiations, COP18. The negotiations take place in Qatar, Doha from 26th of November until 7th of December. Together with The Bellona Foundation, The Sahara Forest Project hosts an exhibition room, meeting room and auditorium inside the delegation area of the conference.
Cooperation between Sundrop Farms Pty Ltd and The Sahara Forest Project AS
Today it was announced that Sundrop Farms Pty Ltd and The Sahara Forest Project AS has signed an agreement to establish a long-term close cooperation, and that Sundrop Farms Pty Ltd becomes a Sahara Forest Project AS partner. The first stage of the cooperation will focus on knowledge sharing and exploring the potential for integrating the parties’ technologies. The parties are therefore executing a joint program for testing and optimization of the Sundrop Farms technology in a Sahara Forest Project setting, aiming at a large-scale commercialization.
