The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is developing an Approach to assess and manage the water-energy-food nexus. The Sahara Forest Project is case study in FAO’s key publication: “Walking the Nexus Talk: Assessing the Water-Energy-Food Nexus in the Context of the Sustainable Energy for All Initiative”.
On the 22nd of June 2014 The Sahara Forest Project signed an agreement with The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Amman for establishing a Sahara Forest Project Launch Station and related activities in Jordan. The agreement was signed under the patronage of the Jordanian Ministry of Environment.
